Common questions
What time zone are the session times in?
Yours. Every time follows the time zone your iPhone or iPad is set to, and each session on a race weekend also shows the local time at the track.
My reminders aren’t arriving.
- Check Settings > Notifications > Racing Line and make sure notifications are allowed.
- A Focus mode can hold notifications back. Add Racing Line to the apps allowed in that Focus.
- In Racing Line, open Settings and tap “Send a test notification”. It should arrive in about five seconds.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit (or Customize), then Add Widget, and choose Racing Line. There are small, medium and large Home Screen widgets and three Lock Screen styles.
How does “Follow this weekend” work?
Open a race weekend and tap “Follow this weekend”. The next session and a countdown appear on your Lock Screen and, on iPhones that have one, in the Dynamic Island. It ends on its own after the race. If the button is missing, check that Live Activities are allowed in Settings > Racing Line.
When do results show up?
Usually within a few hours of a session ending, once the race data source publishes them. With results alerts turned on, Racing Line tells you when they’re in.
Something looks wrong in the schedule.
Race data comes from the community-run Jolpica F1 API. Times are sometimes confirmed late in the week; pull down on the calendar to refresh. If something is still wrong, please email us.
