Racing Line
Race weekends, results and standings

Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

The short version: Racing Line collects no data. There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the app knows about you stays on your device.

What the app stores, and where

Your settings (which sessions to be reminded about, how far ahead, and results alerts) and a copy of the race data the app has downloaded are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.

Network requests

To show schedules, results and standings, the app downloads public race data from the Jolpica F1 API (api.jolpi.ca). These requests contain nothing about you, though, like any request on the internet, the server can see your device's IP address. It also downloads a small file of team details (colors, base, team principal) from this website, racingline-app.netlify.app, which likewise contains nothing about you. The circuit map uses Apple Maps, and the weather at each circuit comes from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). Those requests send the circuit's location, never yours, and are covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications, widgets and Live Activities

Session reminders and “results are in” alerts are scheduled on your device by the app itself. There is no notification server and no push token is sent anywhere. Widgets and the “Follow this weekend” Live Activity read the same on-device data.

What we don’t do

Children

Racing Line is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
